Douglas Allen Box
is a dynamic writer, speaker and author of the popular workbook
series on Marketing, Sales and Promotion for the Photographic
Studio. The originator of the revolutionary concept of Prime Time
and Minimum Orders, he is a pioneer of marketing in the new age
of electronic imaging and color copiers. His first studio was
in Brenham, Texas, a small town in the central part of the state,
an hour and a half from Houston. With only 11,000 people, and
eight other studios in town, he set records in sales and excitement!
In July of '95 he sold that studio, which is still a successful
operation, to pursue a lower volume/ higher profit "Back
to the Home" upscale studio.
On the road Doug is
best known for a motivational, fun and informative presentation.
He has spoken around the country including 32 states and 10 National
Conventions in the US, Mexico, and Canada, with great reviews.
And The International Wedding Institute by Hasselblad University
in 1998 and again in 1999. Doug was featured in the Kodak - The
Times of Your Life publication, has been published in PP of A,
Infoto, CPQ and WPPI Photography Monthly Magazines and had the
cover of Photographerıs Association and has over 300 merits accumulated.
Doug has been inspiring
photographers of all levels to go beyond the normal studio into
a more successful and creative business. He and his wife Barbara
have taught at nine different week long schools.
He is the publisher
